1. What is this page for?
The Affiliate page is used to configure and administer your site's player referral program, allowing players who refer friends to earn a recurring share of revenue generated by downline players in their referral network. This page allows you to set the calculation basis (turnover or net loss), configure up to 5 multi-level tiers, customize rates per game category, set individual override rates for specific referrers, approve claims awaiting site credit, and analyze referral performance reports. This page is designed for campaign managers, finance officers, and affiliate managers.
2. Before you start
- Required permissions:
- 'Affiliate' permission: Grants access to configure site-wide rules, process player claims, and view summary reports.
- 'Affiliate - individual rates' permission: Grants access to view, create, edit, toggle, or delete per-player rate sets in the Own rates tab.
- Things to prepare:
- Calculation basis decision: Decide whether referral revenue is calculated on Turnover (every wager made by downlines, win or lose) or Loss (actual net losses incurred by downlines on that day).
- Paid tiers planning: Decide how many upline tiers earn referral revenue (from 1 up to 5 tiers, where Tier 1 is the direct referrer).
- Core system rules to understand:
- Only bets made with unrestricted cash are counted (play during an active promotion or locked credit is excluded).
- Free credits granted by the site are deducted before calculating referral earnings.
- If using the Loss basis: days where downlines broke even or won pay no commission, and downlines whose lifetime withdrawals exceed deposits do not generate payouts.
3. Screen overview
This page is structured into 4 main tabs:
- Settings tab: Configures site-wide affiliate rules: enable switch, calculation basis (turnover/loss), number of paid tiers, rate grid per game category and tier, and turnover requirement.
- Own rates tab: Displays referrers with custom override rates (applied to all their downlines or a single downline), with options to create, edit, or delete override sets.
- Claims tab: Displays player claim history, with options to approve or cancel claims awaiting credit, and CSV export functionality.
- Report tab: Displays overview metric cards, daily charts, distribution analysis, and 2 detailed breakdown views: Who earned what (revenue view) and Where it came from (turnover view).

- Under Tiers paid: Specify how many upline tiers earn revenue, e.g.
3 tiers (Tier 1 is the direct referrer).
- Under Rate per game type: Enter percentage rates per game category and tier in the grid. The sum of all tiers for any single game category cannot exceed

10. Frequently asked questions / Troubleshooting
- Why does creating an individual rate fail with "Override already exists"?
- An override set has already been created for this referrer and downline combination. Find the existing set in the table and edit it instead.
- Why does picking a single downline fail with "Downline is not in line"?
- The selected player did not register through this referrer's invite link, or is located deeper than the total tiers paid by your site. Verify the player's referral lineage.
- Why does the rate grid show a red error for percentage totals?
- The error "The tiers of a game type together cannot take more than 100%" indicates the combined percentage across Tier 1 through Tier 5 exceeds 100%. Reduce the tier percentages until the sum is 100% or less.
- Why is a claim stuck in "Awaiting payout"?
- The site's central credit balance was too low to process the payout at the moment the player claimed it. Top up your site's credit balance, then click the green Approve button on that row.
- Do referrers earn revenue if their downlines win?
- If your calculation basis is Turnover, referrers earn on every valid bet regardless of whether the downline wins or loses.
- If your calculation basis is Loss, referrers earn nothing on days where downlines break even or make a profit.
