Game tabs

1. What this page is for

The Game tabs page is used to manage the primary game category menu tabs on the player lobby (e.g. Slot, Casino, Sport, Fishing, Lotto, etc.). Administrators can show or hide tabs, reorder their display sequence, customize header banners, replace menu icons, and organize game providers into sub-category buttons (such as sports sub-buttons).

2. Before you start

  • Permissions: You must have the 'Game tabs' permission granted by an administrator to view, reorder, or update tab settings.
  • What to prepare:
    • Verify that at least one provider and game are active in each tab you plan to show, ensuring players never open an empty page.
    • Image files for customization (if applicable):
      • Header Wallpaper: Recommended size 1920 × 600 px (WebP, GIF, PNG, or JPG up to 5 MB).
      • Category Logo: Recommended size 600 × 200 px (up to 2 MB).
      • Tab Icon: Square artwork, recommended 600 × 600 px (up to 2 MB).

3. Screen layout

This feature consists of two main views:

View 1: Game Tabs Overview

  1. Page Header: Displays the title Game tabs, page description, breadcrumbs, and audit info.
  2. Game Menu Preview: Live preview simulating the lobby category tab bar in real-time.
  3. Empty Tab Alert Banner: Warning banner displayed when any shown tab contains zero active games or providers.
  4. Tab List Card:
    • Home Tab: Locked at the 1st position; cannot be moved or hidden.
    • Category Tab Rows: Reorderable rows featuring drag handles, tab icons, titles, sub-button badges, provider/game counts, shown/hidden switches, and right arrows to open settings.
  5. Form Action Bar: Floats at the bottom when changes are made, containing Cancel and Save buttons.

View 2: Tab Detail Settings

  1. Page Header: Tab title, status chip (Shown / Hidden), and Back to tabs button.
  2. Banner Card: Live banner preview with options for header wallpaper (own picture, site theme color, system default) and category logo.
  3. Tab Icon Card: Tab bar icon preview with upload and reset buttons.
  4. Sub-buttons Card (for categories with sub-groups, like Sport): Maps providers to specific sub-category buttons.
  5. Form Action Bar: Cancel and Save buttons for tab-specific edits.

4. Search and filters

The overview displays all system categories in a single comprehensive list corresponding to the live lobby menu sequence. There are no search bars or table filter controls, giving administrators a complete view of the menu structure at a glance.

10. Frequently asked questions & troubleshooting

  • Why can't I move or hide the "Home" tab:
    • The Home tab serves as the primary landing page and root navigation for the lobby. It is permanently fixed at position 1 and cannot be hidden.
  • Confirmation dialog appears warning about empty tabs:
    • You enabled a tab that currently has no active games. Enable games in Games > Providers, or toggle the tab to Hidden until games are available.
  • What happens if I remove the banner logo:
    • If no logo image is uploaded, the system automatically renders the category title as bold, white, centered text across the banner.
  • Newly added system categories don't show on the website:
    • Categories newly introduced by the system wait at the end of the menu in a Hidden state, allowing staff to review games and artwork before making them public. Switch them to Shown to display them.
  • When should I use "Hand back to system":
    • Use this button when you want to reset custom provider sub-button mappings back to the default groupings curated by the system catalog.
